Welcome to my wee page!
I hope you find here some useful tips for your own travels and that I can make you smile with my blog :0)
Hi All and thank you for stopping by my little piece of internet :0) Sooo, what can you expect to find here? You’ll find some travelling tips from a female, I would dare to say amateur ‘modern explorer’, and how I get about with the things I love and how I learn along the way. I will be populating the site slowly but surely over the next few months, but if what you are looking for is not present yet, drop me an email as I'm happy to prioritise content.
I’m currently travelling solo although I have done so with friends and family in the past and each one of these arrangements have their own special pleasures and challenges associated with them which I will be talking about on a dedicated post.
I’ve tried to keep it simple so if you only want to compare your equipment list against mine you can do so quickly or maybe check my itinerary in order to save you some time. On the other hand if you are interested in my personal experiences which I’m looking forward to share with you, you can potter about those too!
I’m not here to be a crowd pleaser just me, so expect not much on the way of political correctness and an awful lot of my honest, clumsy, numpty self!! Granted you won’t get bored.
Although I’m an avid Facebook user within my personal sphere, it is the first time that I aim to hold a ‘proper’ site and an open blog on several platforms, in other words, bear with me as I commit all possible mistakes on the book and get my act together on how to make this work smoothly (somehow..…maybe).
As I’m very close to departure for my Vietnam adventure you can expect from now on v-blog entries and short written updates, plus my daily photos and comments on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, until I have time to sit down and collect my thoughts into a more orderly, and hopefully useful, manner. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my ramblings and feel free to contact me if you wish to do so!! I’ll be delighted to hear from you although it may take me a while to get back to you until my current adventure is finished.
Yes, you can cycle the world too!
I know, I know, I know what you're thinking, let me guess: 'I don't have the time', 'I don't have the money', 'I'm not fit enough', I'm too old/young', insert excuse that is holding you back here *____*. I've been there myself and seen through it, and do you know the best part of it? The best part is that you can do it too, it's much easier than you think!
